Oh snap there’s a new amazing HP collectible in town! We have here an impressive, licensed golden snitch replica from Bradford Exchange. When opened, it plays Hedwig’s theme and reveals Marvolo Gaunt’s ring.
That ring, and of course the Resurrection Stone it holds, factor so deeply into the story. It’s an old Gaunt family heirloom, the Gaunts being direct descendants of Salazar Slytherin. Tom Riddle later made the ring into a horcrux that would eventually lead to Dumbledore’s death. And it’s the horcrux that brought Harry his support system the night he delivered himself to die to end Voldy once and for all.
